Application Description
What is PocketCamera ?

PocketCamera is a small but smart application for the SPV C600 smartphone. In one moment it can turn your phone into an internet camera, spy camera or simply a camera with time releaser. Thanks to PocketCamera take photos in cycles defined by time intervals or on request by sending any SMS with triggering command. The captured pictures (size and resolution can be fully configured) can be saved or send to a selected e-mail address. In the second case, remember about proper setting the selected e-mail account so that the phone could establish connection with the post server to send the e-mail. Potential use of the application is remote surveillance and supervision of people and places.

Application’s possibilities:
  • Making photos in cycles (every 1-60 minutes)
  • Possibility of triggering the camera by sending any SMS from selected phone numbers
  • Choice of picture quality and resolution (from 160x120 to 1280x1024 pixels)
  • Possibility of sending photos via e-mail
  • Application may close itself after making selected number of pictures or when battery is discharged to a certain level.
  • Multilingual user’s interface (English, Polish, German, Spanish)

Installation instruction:
  • Copy CAB file to the selected folder of SPV C600 using ActiveSync
  • Launch SPV C600's file manager app
  • Navigate to the downloaded CAB file
  • Launch and follow the instructions

This application was tested and works only on SPV C600. You should try PocketCamera before purchasing.

Unregistered copy of the application makes up to 5 photos and than is closed. In order to register your copy, after purchasing it, send information about the unique device’s ID to the pocketcamera@it-mobile.net. Such information is also displayed after selecting the "Register" option in the main menu. Remember, that after running the application every incoming SMS is captured by the PocketCamera to check the phone number, so such SMS is not transferred to the inbox. If the application is not needed it should be immediately closed. To make the application work properly .NET CF 2.0 is required, which can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft website.
