User interface looks promising but takes some time to get used to. For example, you start out in the browse files panel, and you need to know to hit 0 to pop out and get to navigate to the rest of the interface. This had me stumped for ages. The play button appears on the user interface but doesn't do anything. You must instead hit pause to toggle play. The program is slow to respond to keystrokes, often taking 1 second to respond to either a joystick press or keyboard press. For example hitting twice on the go-right joystick and one second later the focus shifts once but the second joystick command has been forgotten. Nice equaliser feature though.

I am having LOTS of fun with my Music Box and it works beautifully. It is much, much better than I expected for the price. The very night I bought it, I simply transferred a whole pile of songs over to my storage card and since then I've been constantly amazed at how good it sounds! No hitches whatsoever. All you need to do is to check which keys to use for what, and you are up and away with your favorites wherever you are. This is a bargain at the price.
