Key features:
Already packed with over 150 common items in its catalog, PocketShop3 lets you build a grocery list with just a few taps of the stylus. Then, you can either cradle your PDA and print out your list, or take your PDA with you to the store.
PocketShop remembers any items, quantities, or stores you add. You can add items to your list by browsing through the catalog, simply using the left and right keys to increase or decrease quantities.
A handy "Arrange Departments" feature lets you set the order of your list to match the order you go through the stores.
Support for navigation keys means you can use this product easily in the store with just one hand (no need for the stylus).
This is a fully functional 10-day trial. After that period, you must register.
The author is a former Microsoft employee who wrote this to make life a little easier for people on the go, and a little better for those in need. Through June 30th, profits will be donated to Habitat for Humanity International and World Wildlife Fund.
This version includes both the PC software and the PDA software (12Mb). If you don't want to print, you can download just the PDA software (2Mb) at www.sdmventures.com.
Important release note, 4/22/02: This is the performance-enhanced new version mentioned in Ada Lai's review below. (Thanks Ada and other users for your comments! We're listening.)
