Bugs that you have without this software
Without this software, you can't mute this sound, even in Silent mode, and you can't enable vibration for MMS. So, if you often receive MMS, you have to turn off the phone in many situations (instead to enable the silent or the vibrate mode, because this has no effect on the MMS ringtone!) : For example, at school, at university, during meeting, the night!!, when you are with your girl... practically, or you don't use MMS or you have the phone OFF for all the day! And too, this sound is too short and sometimes you can't hear it!

A simple software that fix a BIG bug!
No heavy system modifies to do, no battery drain, no background running processes! This is my software.



With this software you can mute this sound, change it, control its volume, enable the vibration instead of it, or with it too! (like you do with SMS ringtones).

This software applies only to SmartPhones with ArcSoft MMS Composer (all versions)


This software allows you to:

• enable the vibration for MMS
• mute the MMS ringtone
• use the SMS ringtone for MMS (with the same volume in the current profile).

Examples:

• If the SMS configuration in the current profile is Vibrate+Ringtone, the phone will vibrate as long as the ringtone (like the SMS) and will play the ringtone at the volume set in the current profile.
• If the SMS configuration is Vibrate+Ringtone, but the volume for the ringtone is set to 0, the phone will vibrate as long as the ringtone, but without playing the ringtone (like the SMS!!)
• If the profile is Silent, no sounds will be played when you receive a MMS (ArcSoft MMS Composer plays a sound at the maximum volume even if the profile is Silent).

Installation:
After the installation with the EXE file, you should perform some simple manual operations with the File Manager (installed by default on any Windows Smartphone 2002/2003) to remove the standard MMS ringtone. These operations are described in the first window of the installer and, after the installation, writed in the file Readme.txt in \Storage\Program Files\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\

Instructions are reported below for simplicity: (this manual installation, I know, can be annoying, but is very simple. Apart this, the software accomplish perfectly his task. A simple program that fix a BIG bug).


How to install:
- Close ArcSoft MMS Composer with Task Manager (from System management folder in your Start Menu)
- Install the software by launching Setup.exe on your desktop PC or with the CAB file (the file you will download is an .EXE file, precisely a SFX Rar Archive. If you unpack it with a free RAR extractor, you can get the CAB file. But this is unnecessary. With the exe you downloaded you can do all the installation). During the following operations, sometimes you will get the unsigned application alert on the phone. Simply click Yes.
- After installation, open the Start Menu and navigate to System Management folder. Select Enable MMS Tweak.
- Follow the instructions on screen to remove the standard MMS ringtone. These instructions was reported below:
