The most important tool in my PDA it is like Swiss army tool.

This is a must have application. I travel quite a bit and have numerous credit cards, travel club memberships, and any other items that I must reference often.

Excellent program....I feel lost when I don't have it nearby!
I have had an electronic wallet before, but is has 'crashed' and after the second time, I decided to go for this!! The e-Wallet Proffesional 5.0 is not only good, but it has the excellent ability to back up and store on differenct locations, USB stick, remote server etc. Fantastic!
I don't feel that I ever have to 'worry' about losing sensitive information again. Great stuff

The idea of the program is very nice ..
But I think the price is very expensive and I found more softwares do the sam job in really lower price ..
Thank you ,

My device is a Treo 650, which is not in the list of Device types. I moved from an HP Ipaq 5455 loaded with many passwords, to a Palm Treo 650 Smartphone, which would not accept windows applications. I downloaded eWallet because offered an import tool and it is wonderful to use! I had a problem with my file import and eWallet's helpdesk personnel was the greatest and so patient! eWallet is easy to learn and use. I wanted to see the colored icon tree on my treo (as it is shown on the website), but I found it is only visible from my PC desktop. However, there is a tree (text) view on my Treo 650 of all of my passwords. The formats that are included are nice too and not so hard to select and use. This product is well worth the money for those of us in the technical field where there are many, many usernames and passwords, server ID, etc. Most products you buy today, when you need help with them no one is available or you have to talk to a machine. But with this product there are knowledgable human beings to answer your questions and to assist you! They speak english and I think they are all in the US! I have ecommended this product to several of my friends as a good buy.

This is OK for storing data on a PDA but the desktop synching hasn't worked at all for me (and they stopped answering my emails asking for help). Forget this "professional" edition.
Rick Harley wrote at 03/04/2006
This programme is OK for recording info on your PDA but the professional version that is supposed to synch information is hopeless. I have been exchanging email with the software company all week but I cannot get ewallet to transfer the information from my old PDA to my new one. Now it looks like they have stopped replying to my emails...
Chris Cowan wrote at 02/04/2006
all your information basically will be potentially exposed to Ilium who develops the software. I wonder who won't realize it. How secure the software can be easily broken by the software developer. Think twice.
Kendal Adams wrote at 01/17/2006
Best application to come along since Pocket PCs were invented. I use it as much on my desktop as my Pocket PC. The seemless synchronization is excellent.
Dave Leather wrote at 01/12/2006
Nice idea, and I'd buy the registered version .. but it doesn't work on my T-Mobile MDA Pro (HTC Universal running WM5). I even reset the phone, and just had WM5 with Agenda Fusion running, but eWallet throws up sync errors whenver I try to sync.
Oscar E. Schneider wrote at 11/25/2005
It is not THAT safe!
It should close right after use or once you change utility.
It is not flexible to fill in the data.
Has no password generator.
Good graphics
Good layout and organization.

I could find NOWHERE in this product, PDA nor Desktop, to import a CSV file and migrate data from another source. There is an export option, BUT NO IMPORT.
NO SALE.

Excellent idea but very unstable. I am running the 3.0 edition and it requires a re-install every few weeks. One of the worse applications on the market
Wallace Fairweather wrote at 11/11/2004
I have a PPC and my wife has a Palm Vx (yes, I know, its terrible). This is the only program I know that can sync to both! 5/5 for that feature alone!
Artur Iralin wrote at 06/26/2004
When the PDA is turned off while the eWallet is running, then when you turn it on again, the program window remains open, thereby exposing all your sensitive data. That's not a good implementation of security.
Eric Sassaman wrote at 03/17/2004
I use the PC version slightly more than I do the PPC version - my account info is always just a few clicks away. Great when you're ordering something online and don't want to run across the house for your wallet. Having all your info with you in a secure manner when you're out and about is just great. You never know when you need it. I use this all the time.
Bob Lawther wrote at 03/14/2004
Great product ! Easy to use & easy access to your files without alot of hassle.
You can use your PC to enter files and Sync to your PDA which is a good feature.
Looking forward for the new version!

Lack of true synch cripples this product.
Ossie Spaulding III wrote at 10/09/2003
Great program. The feature that sold me was the ability to customize the icons as well as the cards. I love the ability to rename the fields as well. Great program, a must have.
J Man wrote at 05/04/2003
Great product but it's true that you can't make changes on your desktop and PDA at the same time and expect them to synch together. You must overwrite one or the other. I think this an issue with Microsoft's ActiveSync and how it synch's files so the developer can't do much about it. Maybe using Pocket Access as the ewallet file will work if ActiveSync allows the file to synch on both ends. Or we will just have to wait for Microsoft to improve its synch process between files modified on a PDA and desktop at the same time.
Don Johnson wrote at 04/23/2003
This is a nice program and recommended. BUT, the syncronization between the PDA and desktop has a big flaw. It only sync's the whole ewallet file, if you've changed data on the PDA and desktop since the last sync then you'll have to pick one to overwrite the other and you'll lose changes. Ilium needs to figure out how to sync only the changes, like a true database.
Rob Gordon wrote at 04/23/2003
Before my iPAQ I had a Palm 505 and used the Mobile DB version of an electronic wallet program. eWallet is a major improvement over that and makes good use of Windows. PC interface and PDA interface nicely matched and work well with Active Sync. I have had no reliability problems. Lots of flexibility in setting up records and PC interface makes entering data very convenient. Highly recommend.
Hugo Minney wrote at 01/28/2003
Can't understand other people's concerns - i get very quick and very helpful replies! This is a fantastic product and the fact that you can enter all the difficult passwords on the PC and synchronise it across is brilliant! Did you know that you can copy the password to a web page without reading the password (great when someone is looking over your shoulder)?
Bob Smith wrote at 01/23/2003
Good product. Too expensive if PC desktop version required. Poor customer support. Due to upgrading my iPAQ from PPC2000 to 2002 I was forced to upgrade from the older version (the ONLY piece of software I owned that wouldn't run on PPC2002) Upgrade process was next to impossible outside the US and costs nearly as much as buying it again.

Experience a complete lost of data without any warnings. One moment it was there and gone the next. I was on the road when it happened. If you can imagine, loosing all of your 30 or so password and pin numbers at once... Otherwise, quite friendly and easy to manage. I just can get over the disappearing act of data...
Harold White wrote at 01/07/2003
I installed this software on to my pocket pc and I am not that satisfied. I am receiving this error message "Error opening category: zero record length found". This is very irritating.
Aly Nazerali wrote at 10/18/2002

How many passwords and PINs do you have? eWallet will help you remember and use your various identities, whether you are using your desktop computer or you are away from your desk and need to login to some system. The eWallet encryption means it is safe to store your financial PINs in your PDA, even if you don't password protect the PDA itself. This product works flawlessly - on the PDA and on the desktop.

List Pro is a great product. I egistered the software, since then I have written at list 3 times requesting assistance to Ilium Software support to no avail. I will go elsewhere for an eWallet type program. Good software is everywhere, good customer support is hard to find.
